PeekabooLabs Co., Ltd. (hereinafter the “Company”, "we", ) places the highest priority on protecting users’ personal information and strives to process and safeguard such information in accordance with applicable laws while providing the Ollie product (hereinafter the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains the types of personal information collected by the Company, the purposes for which it is collected and used, the retention and usage period, and the rights of users and how to exercise them.

1. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information
The Company collects and uses personal information for the purposes of providing the Service, improving the Service, maintaining security, and offering customer support, as outlined below:
Service Provision and Improvement:
Ollie is a private AI solution for adults that performs AI operations on-device. As a result, users’ conversation content or personal data is not transmitted externally, and no data tracking is performed.
However, some anonymized technical data for performance measurement (e.g., device battery status) and reliability improvement may be collected.
Customer Support and Inquiry Handling:
When a user makes an inquiry or requests support, contact information (such as email address, name, etc.) and related details are collected to ensure smooth service provision and problem resolution.
Compliance with Legal Obligations:
Personal information may be used for compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as for securing evidence for dispute resolution.
2. Categories of Personal Information Collected
The Company collects the following categories of personal information:
Required Items:
Email address, username, etc., provided during account registration (for service use and user identification)
Automatically Collected Items:
When using the Service, performance measurement data from the device (e.g., battery status, device type, etc.)
This data is used solely for anonymized statistical purposes for service improvement and maintenance, and it does not enable the identification of individual users.
Non-Collected Items:
Ollie does not collect users’ conversation content or other sensitive personal information (e.g., location information, additional contact details, etc.).
3. Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information
Retention Period:
Personal information collected for account registration and service use is retained until membership withdrawal or the termination of the Service.
Performance measurement data is anonymized and retained only for statistical purposes, and it is processed in a manner that does not allow identification of any individual user.
Usage Period:
Personal information is used until the purpose of collection is achieved or until the period prescribed by law has elapsed, after which it is promptly destroyed.
4. Provision and Sharing of Personal Information with Third Parties
In principle, the Company does not provide or share users’ personal information externally. However, personal information may be provided as an exception in the following cases:
Legal Requirements:
When required by relevant laws, investigative agencies, or court orders
Outsourcing for Service Provision:
When personal information processing is outsourced for service operation, improvement, or customer support. The Company takes appropriate measures through outsourcing agreements to protect personal information.
5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing
The Company may outsource some personal information processing to third parties for service operation, technical support, customer response, etc. In such cases, the Company enters into contracts with the outsourcing parties in accordance with personal information protection laws and implements necessary measures to ensure the secure processing of personal information.
6. Technical and Managerial Measures for Information Protection
The Company implements the following measures to protect personal information from loss, theft, leakage, alteration, etc.:
Technical Measures:
The Company applies commercially reasonable technical measures such as data encryption, access control, and security software to protect personal information.
However, please note that no data transmission over the internet or security measure can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Managerial Measures:
The Company provides regular training for internal employees, designates a personal information protection officer, and manages access rights.
User Responsibility:
Users are responsible for safeguarding their login information and password, restricting access to their devices, and logging out of websites and accounts after use.
7. Users’ Rights, Methods of Exercise, and Choices
Depending on the user’s country of residence and applicable laws, users may have the following rights concerning their personal information:
Basic Rights:
The right to request access, correction, updating, or deletion of their personal information
The right to request suspension of processing and withdrawal of consent for personal information processing
Additional Rights and Choices:
The right to submit certain requests through an authorized agent under European data protection laws or other applicable regulations
The right to be free from discrimination for exercising any rights
The right to appeal any decision made by the Company regarding the user’s rights request
How to Exercise Rights:
Some rights may be exercised directly within the Ollie Service, while others require a written request to the Company via email (contact@peekaboolabs.ai).
When making a request, users may need to provide sufficient information to verify their identity, such as their full legal name, date of birth, email address, username, and physical address.
If an authorized agent is used to exercise rights, the user must provide a written power of attorney to that agent, and the Company may request a copy of the power of attorney.
The Company will respond to user requests within the timeframe stipulated by applicable laws.
“Do Not Track” Signals:
Because the effect of “Do Not Track” signals is unclear and the industry has not established a consistent response to such signals, the Company does not alter its data processing practices when it detects a “Do Not Track” signal from a browser.
Appeals:
If the Company does not take action on a user’s rights request within a reasonable period or refuses the request, the user may file an appeal by emailing contact@peekaboolabs.ai and providing sufficient information to verify their identity and the reason for the appeal.
8. Protection of Children’s Personal Information
This Service is intended for adults (19 years of age or older), and the Company does not intentionally collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If it is confirmed that personal information of a child has been collected, such information will be deleted immediately.
9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be modified in accordance with changes in relevant laws or the Company’s internal policies.
If significant changes occur, the Company will provide advance notice through website announcements or other appropriate means, and the amended Privacy Policy will take effect on the date announced.

11. Additional U.S. State Disclosures
Certain U.S. state privacy laws require specific notices. The following table provides an overview of the categories of Personal Information we collect, how we use it, and how we may share or disclose it. In operating the Ollie Service, we do not collect chat data and only collect limited personal information such as hardware performance data (e.g., device battery status), email addresses, and usernames.
Use and Retention of Personal Information
We do not collect or use any personal information outside the categories specified above.
Personal information collected is processed and stored in accordance with “1. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information” and “3. Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information” above.
Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information
In principle, we do not sell users’ personal information; we only share or disclose it in limited ways for outsourcing or when legally required.
If there is a request from a government authority or a court order in accordance with the law, we may provide information following the relevant legal procedures.
User Rights
Users residing in certain U.S. states may have additional rights to access, delete, restrict processing, or object to certain uses of personal information.

Retention and Destruction of Personal Information
The personal information mentioned in the table above is retained only for the period set forth in this Privacy Policy and is destroyed immediately upon expiration of that period or once its purpose has been achieved.
